Deleting your account
You can do it yourself, it takes one screen, and it happens immediately. No email to anyone, no waiting period, and nobody has to approve it.
How
- Sign in, then open settings.
- Under Delete account, type your email address to confirm.
- Press the button. It is done when the page returns you to the home page.
What is removed
The account itself, your email address and name, every lesson's progress, every prediction you have answered, your sessions on every device, and your email choices. It is immediate and it cannot be undone - there is no grace period and nobody here can recover it afterwards.
Nothing is kept today, because nothing on this site charges for anything. If that changes, tax and payment records have retention obligations that outlive a deletion request, and the confirmation email will say exactly what was kept and why rather than leaving you to find out.
If you only want it to stop
There is a second option in the same place: switch the account off. It signs you out everywhere, stops every optional email, and keeps your progress exactly where it is. Signing in again turns it back on, and nothing else is needed.
Most people who go looking for a delete button want this one. Deletion is the right answer when you want the data gone; switching off is the right answer when you want the product to leave you alone.
If you cannot sign in
Use the login page - it can email you a sign-in link, or a link to set a new password, without you remembering anything. If the address itself is out of reach, write to contact@nublabs.com from any address you can use and say which account you mean; it will be handled by hand.
The apps
The iOS and Android apps have no accounts at all: they store nothing about you and make no network requests, so there is nothing to delete and no account to close. Removing the app removes everything it kept on your device. Their privacy policy says the same in more detail.
